Computer Learning Center

The Computer Learning Center of the Wallingford Senior Center offers a variety of computer classes to adults aged 50 and over.  The objective of the Learning Center is to teach older adults useful computer skills which will enable them to utilize the many resources and opportunities available to them on computers and the internet.

The Leaning Center Council, which meets monthly, is responsible for the operation of the Learning Center and recommends policies for the Learning Center including curriculum selection and budget planning.  The Learning Center Council consists of the officers of the Learning Center, the committee chairs, all active volunteers and the Wallingford Senior Center Program Director.

Volunteers staff and support the Learning Center by teaching, coaching, planning, administering, or assisting in any way for the program to meet its objectives.

Computer classes are available for beginners as well as advanced computer users.  All income generated from class fees are used to support the activities of the Learning Center including the purchase and maintenance of equipment, curriculum, and supplies.
