Thursday Eve Kickoff
The Wallingford Senior Center resumed its Thursday evening programs of dinner and entertainment on April 11, with a concert provided by country singer Ray Scott.
Spelling Bee 2013 (Spell Bound Seniors) – Wii Bowling Tournament
We participated in the Wallingford Education Foundation’s Adult Spelling Bee. Congratulations to our team, the Spellbound Seniors, who placed second!
Our virtual bowling team, the Wii Pin Willows, hosted players from Ashlar Village to a friendly Wii Bowling tournament.
British Invasion Party
Members of the WSC saluted Great Britain on June 19, with a British Invasion Party, featuring the music of British rock bands of the 1960’s. DJ Keith Alan got everyone up and dancing to the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Herman’s Hermits and more.
